Established in the early '80s in County Donegal by the talented frontwoman, fiddler, and singer Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and her late husband, Frankie Kennedy, Altan has been a prominent figure in traditional Irish music ever since. The globe-trotting band's remarkable sound has captivated audiences everywhere, from bars to the iconic Hollywood Bowl.
