Grammy winners Third Coast Percussion celebrate their time as DPAC’s Ensemble-in-Residence with a program of University of Notre Dame commissions. The quartet looks back to breakthrough compositions including 2014’s Wild Sound by Glenn Kotche and unveils a world premiere by Son Lux (Ryan Lott), the legendary liquid soundscape artist crowned NPR’s Best New Artist. Son Lux has collaborated with Lorde and scored 2014’s Jessica Chastain James McAvoy film triptych The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby. Co-sponsored by the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre.

Quartered by Son Lux (Ryan Lott), was commissioned by the University of Notre Dames' DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and Third Coast Percussion's New Works Fund. The Other Side of the River by Gavin Bryars was commissioned by Peak Performances@Montclair State University and the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
