Solo Square Dance <h4>Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies</h4>

Solo Square Dance is a percussive dance performance commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Irish Dance Halls Act which banned dancing in homes. Performed by Nic Gareiss, the dances are new pieces inspired by this and other dance bans—some in the U.S.A.
